Welcome Liv Stavick to the SDABA Staff

Liv Stavick grew up south of Veblen, SD on her family’s first-generation seedstock operation, Stavick Simmental. It’s here that she developed a deeply rooted passion for agriculture and an aspiration to protect the business of ag and the rural communities that support this way of life.

After obtaining her degree in Political Science and Agricultural Business from Montana State University in Bozeman, she worked as the Director of State Affairs for the Montana Farm Bureau Federation, lobbying on behalf of farmers and ranchers in Helena. After moving to NE Montana, she continued to serve as the organization’s Director of Membership and Leadership Development, coordinating their advocacy and leadership development program.

Liv recently relocated to Northeast South Dakota and is thrilled to call the area home. When she isn’t on the road for work, she can probably be found spoiling her blue heeler, reading or helping on the family ranch.
