How Do I Become Certified?
First, you
must have two years of crop advising experience and a BS
degree in agriculture OR four years of post high school
experience. You must be able to document your education
and crop advising experience with transcripts and
supporting references. An applicant must also pass a
CCA local and international exam plus sign and agree to
uphold a code of ethics. Once certified, you must earn
40 hours of continuing education units (CEUs) every two
years and pay an annual maintenance fee.
